Sales Associate

Position: Sales Associate

Description: The Sales Associate’s primary responsibility is for the successful selling of
products and services to new prospects and participating in the development and execution of
corporate marketing strategies. This involves managing all aspects of the sales cycle to develop
new customer accounts. The Sales Associate will work as an individual and as part of a team,
with limited supervision and will be expected to participate in internal growth activities as they
relate to new products and best practices.

Responsibilities include:
1. Responsible for meeting sales quotas for products and services:

  • Responsible for identifying and following up on all lead management activities
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales quotas as defined by PDT Communications
  • Understand PDT Communications telecommunications product and service offerings
  • Provide technical comprehension of solution offerings to prospective clients on telephony technology
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the capabilities and constraints of the applications
  • Facilitate each phase of the sales cycle
  • Develop lasting customer relationships

2. Responsible for sales quota targets:

  • Annual Sales Revenue Target = $1,200,000

3. Support organizational growth:

    Participate in organizational growth through continued process/delivery improvements

Four year college degree (BA/BS) or related experience

Minimum 2 years selling solutions to end customers. Telephony experience preferred.


  • Exceptional written and verbal communications
  • Effective time management of self and others
  • Able to work well independently or in a team environment
  • Proven track record of demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Project management expertise

• PBX vendor experience in any of the following:

      o Interactive Intelligence


      o AVAYA Definity G3R


      o Nortel Meridian


    o Cisco IP Telephony (Callmanager, IPCC, Unity)
